I’m sorry if I’m doing an obvious question, but (sorry to say this) the documentation in the website become every time more confused for one, like me, that lurks only once each month.

I see that there is a great snippet, called Ditto, that should replace News*. Now, I want to set up a blog section in my website. How can I do this with Ditto? The documentation of the snippet lists all parameters, features, and so on, but in my opinion forgets to say what REALLY Ditto IS.

:-) anyway, guys, you are doing a very nice CMS (just some minutes ago I have seen the MaxiGallery applied on the images of the Templates resource section... beautiful!)

OK let’s get started. Make a folder named Blog(or whatever) and under that blog you will insert your posts. (you can also put other folders in that folder to act as categories).
Afther that make a page (not necessarily in the Blog folder), make it as the site default and write in that page
      [[Ditto? &startID=`your_blog_folder_id` &summarize=`10` &sortBy=`createdon` &sortDir=`DESC` &multiLevel=`ON`]]

Can’t remember if it’s DESC or ASC at the sortDir to have the latest article on top (if you have mysql 4.1.21-standard it doesn’t work because mysql is stupid tongue, it’s a fix on this forum but since you’re new like me i don’t think you can fix it tongue)
That Ditto code will show summary of the latest 10 articles .
      Hope this helps.
