Documents sometimes not unpublishing (bug?)

    So I upgraded to 0.9.5 RC2... and unpublishing still doesn’t work :’(
    The problem is still the same: in the site schedule it looks like the document has been unpublished, but it hasn’t. However, when I re-save the document (without making any changes) it becomes unpublished.
    This is my server setup:

    PHP version: 4.3.11
    MySQL: 4.1.19
    Server: Apache/2.0.58 (FreeBSD) mod_ssl/2.0.58 OpenSSL/0.9.7e

    I think php is running as FastCGI (in case that’s relevant).

    ...Help?
