SMF SSI/Recent posts in MODX b5

Hey guys, I’ve got smf installed with the smf bridge. I am trying to include latest posts on the front page but am struggling because if I include the SSI.php file in the header, in the template, the php doest get parsed, but if I include it as a snippet than I get errors in modx about sessions. SSI virtual also doesnt work, the other way I could think of is an iframe with a php or shtml file but I dont really want that. Any suggestions?

You will need to modify the SSI script and SMF to work nicely with MODx, I did do some instructions for the UserComments snippet but they detail the changes you’ll need to make for general SSI stuff as well. Ive decided to run it as an ssi using an iframe for now, will check out that mod once I have time but thanks for your help
