Manager access prevention

Oki, you can try the Cisco support site, I don’t know when I can reach my firewall expert friend. As far as I know there is no other way of doing this than to configure your firewall (exept in htaccess as discussed), and that is more of a firewall question than a MODx question I guess... but what do I know?

If you’re not going to have boatloads of Manager Users, you can use the User tab of each individual to restrict access to certain IPs, days and so on. This really needs to be moved out to an overall default though I think, as it’s quite handy and should solve your problem I think.
