Hi guys,
I am trying to display a "You are logged in as [username]".
is it possible display the username in the login box, and also, it is possible to make the username a link to the SMF forum user profile page? Would of been easy if smf would display profile as a username and not the number of the user. (index.php?action=profile;u=1).
Also I need a css guru to help me with the dropdown menu.
Thanks.
Regards,
Irakli K.

Hi again, could you please tell me why this doesnt work: I downloaded personalize 2.0
Since I am already using the Login Form that comes with modxb5 I dont see any point changing to personalize however it wont be to hard if needed. I still dont understand how to show the username of the user. I installed personalize 2.0 as a snippet and am trying to run it at [[LoggedOrNot? &ph=`name`]] without yes chunk and no chunk. I still dont Understand how can it show the username, can someone please explain this a bit better. Also how can I implement personalize2.0 into weblogin because it generates the links.
Ok now I added the Personalize2.0 into the section when the user is logged in, but how do I display the username?
In the yesChunk you can display the username using the [+name+] placeholder ("name" because you specified it as &ph=`name`).
The Personalize has nothing to do with the login form... it only displays a chunk (yesChunk) if the user is logged or another (noChunk) if the user isn’t logged. If you want you can have the login form in the noChunk to display it to unlogged users.
Repeat: the name placeholder (the one you specify with &ph=``) can be used only in the yesChunk.
After all, if the user isn’t logged you don’t know his name!
Yippi!
Problem solved! Thank you!
