Hi all,
I wonder if its possible to show/or hide folders or documents in manager based on user rights.
Thank you

Any hints where to look or oe to do it?
Thank you.
Alex.
You need to setup the manager users, assign them to roles to allow/deny certain things, setup document group and user group, add the users to certain user groups, link the user group to certain document groups and in the documents, select a document group in the access permissions where you want to assign the document to. The user groups that are in that document group will see the document.

i did different setups of roles and user rights, but what i have succeed is modx to tell the user that he dont have the right to edit a document, not to hide the document from the navigation tree (in the manager, that is)

If you have properly defined user groups and assigned documents to the proper document groups, then associated document groups with user groups, you should be able to do it. Check that you have followed those steps, and re-check the permissions defined for the selected user groups.

Is there a way to change the document order in a folder? And is there a way to hide information like the standard document content field from the edit in manager view?
Sorry about the question bombing, but i eager to figure everything out. this piece of software is one of the best i have worked with for years.
It does what it promesses.
Thanx fot it!

Glad I could help... it’s not always easy understanding the system when you learn MODx. Once you get the gist of it, it rolls
