contactform 1.0 and "dynamic" subject

    Hello

    tunning my test site MODx 0.9.5 beta 3 (rev 1533), I did translate contactform into french... then I’ve made several tests.

    It appeared that dynamic (not static) subject do not work properly...
    I’ve looked into the code.... 
    $the_subject = ($subject_type=="static") ? "$static_subject" : $_POST['subject'];

    I haven’t seen any input named "subject".
    I think it was the drop list... but it is converted into "to" field

    no urgence for me... just for signaling the "bug"

      ContactForm will not come with 0.9.5 when it ships. Default content updates came with a slightly later revision I believe.

        There is no bug.
        ContactForm is working fine.
        It might be that rev 1533 had some things broken, but I don’t remember...

        This being said, eForm which ships with 0.9.5 is working fine to (at least, 1.3.1 is, I have some trouble with 1.4)
        If you need a french translated contact form for eForm, I’ll post this a bit later...

          I’d just like to remark here that I have two sites, one was using the original ContactForm, the other I replaced that with an eForm based contact form. I got two or three spam messages from the original ContactForm a day, none from the eForm. So I changed the ContactForm to the same eForm I was using on the second site, and haven’t gotten a spam message since. I do get other genuine messages, so I know it’s working. Just no spam.
