    Hi there,

    Ok this problem is POSSIBLY linked to a recent site migration....as I cant think of anything else that may have done it! (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,7840.0.html)

    Basically when I hot the login to enter the manager nothing at all happens. The form reloads and is blank. there is a session file created in the root of the site...but no manager ;(

    I recently ran the upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 which went fine?? Im desperatly trying to avoid having to re-build from scratch!! Please help if you can!

    Cheers,

    Justin

      Did you run the Installer in upgrade mode after moving?

        I sure did. It updated everything fine. It appears login.processor.php is redirecting me to /manager.index.php....which is just the login again?

          Try clearing the cookies in your browser for your site. I’ve had this happen when upgrading.

            Hi there,

            I tried to clear the cookies.....
            I just moved from an apache host to a windows host. Not I have taken the time to change all the system setings:

            filemanager_path D:/hshome/myfolder/mysite.com/
            rb_base_dir D:/hshome/myfolder/mysite.com/assets/

            and finally: rb_base_url http://www.mysite.com/assets/

            However even if I enter nothing for the baove I can still browse the site but I cannot login? Have I gone mental? Thanks for the help....

            Justin.

                    You mentioned session file being created in your site root earlier I would check with your new host and make sure PHP is setup properly it sounds like the IIS web user does not have the proper read / write permission on the php session folder / files.

                      Solved:

                      ini_set("variables_order","EGPCS");
                      ini_set("session.save_path","");

                      Most likely a session problem, clearing the session save path fixed the problem...got a lead from:

                      Thanks for all the awardle
