I am just trying to fully understad all the files and configurations. For back-up I can create the droptable and include the tables (which includes all the contnet the users have added) from with Modx

With assets folder I have files and images which I would also need, and snippets folder etc that are modified for that site. What I am not clear on is where chunks are held and what files I would need to back-up to ensure all the chunks are included. Maybe its all in assets so if I back a back-up via the back-up routine and also backup assets all my bases are covered?

Could someone clarify this above for me please. I jst want to make sure I have everything fully covered.

    Thanks

Chunks are in the database, site_htmlsnippets ( a legacy name from long long ago). Also plugins, modules and snippets have their base code in the database. What gets put in the assets/ folder is their auxiliary files.

Everything that is entered in the "resources" section of the Manager is in the database.
