I wish to create a website with a structure that is a bit complicated.
My website would be structured as presented bellow:
A central part (an index to call it so) , that will be much like a blog , containing a link and summary of any recent added article about any type of* widget* I would write about.
The website would have between 5 and 10 sub-domains ,each sub-domain representing a widget manufacturer .
I want these pages to also be structured like a blog with "article pages" .
Finally , I want these articles to contain information about a certain product/item/widget etc. and be like a website of it’s own.
So , looking from the top page (domain.com) each sub-domain would actually be a filter to what news are being displayed , and each article for a sub-domain would do the same (be a news filter) , just at another level.
I’ll try to make a basic schema (I’m not very good at this) :
news#1 about item AB \
news#2 about item AB ---- item AB article page ---------------------------
news#3 about item AB __/ news#1 link,news#1 summary \
news#2 link,news#3 summary etc. \
====\
====/ Manufacturer A (news#1 AB link+summary,news#1 AC link+summary,news#2 AB link+summary etc.) ------------> Main page ( link#x about item YX : link + summary ,etc. )
news#1 about item AC \ /
news#2 about item AC --- item AC article page ----------------------------
news#3 about item AC __/ news#1 link,news#1 summary etc.
So, as I create a "low level" article , it should propagate itself through all of it’s parents (by adding a summary and link to their page) .
Doable or not ? (I want a hierarchical structure , not a tag-based one ).
PS: sorry for the bad english and pour explanations

.Also any suggestions that would make my life easier would be welcomed

. Oh... and by having the same summaries multiple times on different pages , would the search engines trigger a "duplicate content" alarm ? For if that is possible , I would need another schema for my website

.
Thank you!
