Sorry, I did not get any search result for something like this, and the http://www.modxcms.com/quickedit.html seams to be far away from this concern..

So I’d like to understand how to link (if it’s only possible?) to an external css file in order to get the STYLE dropdown list updated with my own styles into the Quickedit content’s wysiwyg editor, in order to use them.

(By the way I’ll need the same for Fckeditor, but I guess this is alway documented somewhere)

    Thank you

I believe that backend and quieckedit use the same RTE with same settings. So if you do it for the backend RTE, it will be in quickedit’s RTE too.

Yes I understood it a few minutes after posting..

However, tricking FCKeditor is a pain. sad

I’ll look for tinymce. So boring, directions writing in the manager (site conf, edditor..) are not true ..
for FCkeditor, needs to enter manualy à whole list of stuff into an xml file. and doing the job twice (or more is not my goal)

Tinymce is supposed to acces an external css (normal way from my point o view) but dont seams to be enough, I ’m on my way to deal with this. So I’ll post later something else,. I guess this thread could be close

        Thank you

Sorry, I let this aside, since I had other priorities.

I suggest you to have a look to TinyMCe instead of FCKeditor.

The last RTE is Xana, but I didn’t do it yet (and it’s not the final rel, as far as I know).
