.. got this application up and running in Firefox, went to IE and it’s fuxored.

    In the source there is..

    <base href="" />

Which doesn’t phase Firefox at all, but IE ends up doing stuff like "http:///logo2.gif" to the image pathes, and "http:///Contact" to the links.

    .htaccess has....

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^Home$ index.php
    RewriteRule ^Grid$ index.php?page=grid
    RewriteRule ^Blog$ index.php?page=blog
    RewriteRule ^FAQ$ index.php?page=faq
    RewriteRule ^Contact$ index.php?page=contacts
    RewriteRule ^Buy$ index.php?page=buy
    RewriteRule ^Static/(.*)$ index.php?page=static&p=$1
    RewriteRule ^Success$ index.php?page=success
    RewriteRule ^Redir/(.*)$ index.php?page=redir&id=$1

    huh

any of you kind soles have an inkling as to what might be going on?

Do you have <base href="[(site_url)]" /> in your template?

<base href="{scal:w_siteurl}" /> as it goes ( this is not a ModX ) ......., but I think you have given me the golden tip.

        Thanks

Umm... why are you posting here then? I’m confused.

Because of the excellent and quick responses from this team.

I am now on the right path again after two hours of frustration.

I’ll try and stay on topic next time.

// Edit: Oh yeah, and the application I have to try and make work seems to have disappearred from the web, as in no support forum sad
