Hi,
I have not found anything in the documentation about filters. I have to setup a multilevel blog:
-Blog
--Group1
---Member1
----BlogEntry
Blog includes all blog entries (not folders including Ditto) and Group1 includes all entries of members into Group1. What will be Ditto’s filter criteria? Why?
Thanks!

What filters? You just need to set the &startID to the folder where you want to start at, eg. Group1, then set &descendentDepth / &depth to a value that goes the whole tree as deep as you want and use &hideFolders=`1` to make it not show folders in return data.

I see. The problem is that I espect the addition of about 40 blogs per year and a "hideFolders" will be too heavy to manage. I thought the filter option could exclude folder levels that contain a Ditto call. In my example, Blog, Group and MemberI are Ditto calls, that should be excluded to avoid embeded Ditto calls. Another strategy would be to use a tag for Ditto folders and excluding them. What do you think?
Thanks again, your help is greatly appreciated.

Too heavy to manage how? the value is not a doc ID, it’s 0 for false and 1 for true..

I misunderstood the &hideFolders option. However, if I hide folders, all blog entries that store comments will be excluded. Using the tag system to remove untagged documents or documents tagged as Ditto may be the best solution.

Use Jot for your comments. It uses the database, not documents in folders.
