How screwed am I?

I turned on CAPTCHA codes for my site but I didn’t know it was broken... Image does not appear properly. Now I can not log back into the manager. Yikes!

In fact I now blocked myself.

So how do I reset this monkey without losing my work? Is it possible?

HELP

Does this help? http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3243.0.html

The search feature here is somewhat idiosyncratic but I find if you just keep repeating the search it will eventually produce some results, this was found by searching for turn off captcha

Ed

I tried fixing my problem with http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3861.0.html

It worked and I could now see the image but even thou I type the image correctly, it didn’t validate.

Turned out after I resent my password it worked.
