Tv's Issue

Hi all,
only new for a week with modx, i have some problem with TV’s.
I was working (trying) with shopX, and wanted to create a tv named shopItemPrice as a text with a default value equal to 0. Then i created a new document; shopItemPrice appeared in the Template Variables part with the value 0. I changed it and saved..... nothing changed ...after that, i tried a lot of possibilities : change the name, the type etc.... but impossible to modify the value of shopitemprice.
The only ways (after few desperate hours of unsuccessfull tries) to change the value are

• to use QuickEdit (after changing the code following one post of the forum concerning Quickedit and tvs issue because of error: "no table found etc....")
• or use Internet Explorer


• or Opera.

I’ve already post in the french Section, but told me to post here....
So here’s my config:
I’m on XP pro sp2 using Firefox 1.5.0.7 with few extensions.
The website is hosted by a company (Celeonet)
OS : Linux 2.4.20-28.9
Apache :1.3.33 (Unix)
MySQL : 4.0.24
PHP : 4.3.11

I’m guessing you’re using 0.9.2.x. If so, an upgrade to the public beta will probably resolve this issue. There should be a new one out early next week too. There are some odd bugs with TVs and saving with certain server configurations.

But i think it comes only from my computer....i tested it on another computer and it works....
On mine, i tried run firefox on safe mod, desinstal all the extensions, desinstal and reinstall firefox... and still this error...

I’ ll try to upgrade to the beta.

Upgrade to beta...but still the same problem.... I think it is a local problem...

Can’t undestand why....clean install/uninstall of firefox with or whithout extensions...
Try with few other computer and it works... not on mine.
I can only save dropdwon or listbox... but none with an textarea box....

Are you running some personal firewall software on your machine?

Yup sygate personnal firewall.
But already checked.
I disable it and always the same problem. I think the problem is deeper...so deep, that i think i will have to reinstall the computer as soon as possible
If you’ve got some other ideas, just post here, if not don’t bother. I will see if the resintallation will change something.
