Hi frisko54,

Do you have PHP enabled on the server you’re trying to run MODx on? None of the PHP files are being interpretated by the server which tells me there’s an issue there.

Hi,

For setting up the dB (in case you haven’t done it already) and the initial stuff, you can take a look at
http://modxhost.com/

regds

You have to use your FTP client to set the permissions on those files and folders to 777, so the scripts can write to them.

sweet! I installed it. Now how do I get palmpoon.com to go directly to palmpoon.com/index.php?

If you have an index.html file in the same directory, simply rename it and the site should load via index.php. You probably have an index.html file in the same directory and the Apache configuration searches for index files with the html extension before php.
