I am using UserComments snippet(I know what you are thinking..but I dont at present require the huge functionalty of Replix...though I may definitely need it sooner or later.)
When I click submit after filling the form, the posts are not displayed. The folder for the posts is empty. The document to which the comments are written..do I have to create it or is it done automatically by the snippet? I have removed the cacheable option for the documents.
I am calling the snippet as
[!UserComments? &displaytpl=`umctempl` &formtpl=`umcform` &folder=`9` &recentposts=`10`!]
I have created a folder which has id 9.
The form code is
<form id="sehforms" action="[~[*id*]~]" method="post" name="umcform">
<input name="umcform" id="hid" type="hidden" value="on" />
<input name="[+tagname+]" id="hid" type="hidden" value="on" />
<fieldset>
<label for="name">Name :
<input name="name" id="big" type="text" tabindex="1" />
</label>
<br />
<label for="location">Location :
<input name="location" id="big" type="text" tabindex="2" />
</label>
<br />
<label for="subject">Subject :
<input name="subject" id="big" type="text" tabindex="3" />
</label>
<br />
<label for="experience">Experience :
<textarea name="experience" id="" tabindex="4" /></textarea>
</label>
<br />
</fieldset>
<p>
<input id="conbtn1" type="submit" value="Submit">
</p>
</form>
and the display post template is
[+UID:[+uid+]+]<div[+postclass+]>
<div[+titleclass+]>
<strong>[+subject+]</strong> <br />
</div>
<div class="umccontent">
[+comment+]
</div>
<div class="umcby">
Posted by [+name+] [+location+] on [+createdon+]
</div>
Extremely sorry for the long post. What might I be doing wrong here? I have read many posts..but am afraid didnt find relevant information for my problem there..maybe this is too elementary:(
Waiting for your valuable suggestions. Thanks a lot in advance.
