Hello,
I’m having problems viewing the directory listing when clicking on Resources -> Manage files.
Nothing os showing up, however I can see the files through ftp client.
I’m not sure what I’ve done, I’ve reinstalled checking everything is set ok, can anyone point me in the right direction with this?
Many thanks,
S
Try to check your path in administration - configuration.
Check the rights of your folders
Hello,
If you mean the Enable Resource Browser setting, that’s set to yes. I’m not sure what other settings there are regarding this? I did try the enable root setting too but no joy with that either.
Could it be a permissions thing to do with the hosting we are with? I’m just thinking this because the same install on a different server seems to be working fine.
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
S
Yes, it’s what I mean when I’m talking rights, check the permissions of the folder.
Hello,
I checked through my FTP client what the permissions were for the directories, they were the same read/write/execute the only thing that differs is the owner and group (as it’s a different server now). Are there any issues?
Many thanks,
Sian
Is your server under win or linux ?
In case of linux check if the directory and files are world-readable and world-writeable.
Hello,
It’s on a Linux machine, just getting in touch to check versions of Apache etc.
The directories such as /assets are now set to: 757 (rwxr-xrwx) but I’m still having problems.
Do you think it’ll be something to do with the hosting? I can’t see anything else it could be but I’m not sure what else to try.
Best regards,
Sian

Try 777... and make sure the appropriate subdirectories are also 777. Frequently Apache and PHP run as different users and 757 won’t let happen what needs to happen.

Hello,
Im still having problems with seeing the files list through the resource manager. I’m presuming that it’s some kind of issue with the hosting, has anyone else had these types of issues? Are there any known issues with PHP 5.1.6 and Apache 2.0 ?
If I find anything out about this I’ll post.
Thanks,
Sian
