noob here...Installed modx this morning, was working fine but got this error:


« MODx Parse Error »

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:

  Error:	mysql_connect(): Too many connections

Any ideas?

This is an error with your server regarding availability of MySQL connections. It means that there are not enough free resources on the machine to allow MODx to get a connection to your database. Sounds like you might need to contact your hosting provider if the problem persists.

You could try disabling the native visitor logging to see if it helps.. also, please try to search the forums before posting (to many connections). Google search works the best, use site:modxcms.com <your keywords> as search term
