Hi everybody. I am a new ModX user (first day and this is already my second support post!)
I am trying to make a basic blog. I have a folder with a bunch of sub pages which are to be the blog posts.
I put the following text in the content of the parent folder:

    [tt][!NewsListing? &summarize=`2` !][/tt]

And I get what I expect. The most recent 2 posts, truncated in some way. Now, what I want to do is show the entire posts (subpage) rather than having them truncated. As I understand from the newslisting documentation I should add this:

    [tt][!NewsListing? &summarize=`2` &trunc=`false` !][/tt]

except I get the same as before. The posts are truncated. Have I completely misunderstood or made a mistake here? I would be very grateful for any help anyone could give.

    Thanks a lot.

    Graham

    p.s. using MODx 0.9.2.1 (rev 1005)

ah, thank you Mark. That did the trick!

Just out of interest, why does the documentation say to use `true` and `false` rather than (I presume) the actual boolean operators `1` and `0`? It was a little misleading for a newbie to the system huh Maybe someone could update it a little?
Regardless, I am happy now it works and I’m very impressed with ModX.

          Cheers grin

Ditto documentation shows a 0. NewsListing is deprecated and thus has not been corrected.
