I need some help since I am getting the following failures:

Checking if assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php file is writable: Failed!

Checking if assets/cache/sitePublishing.idx.php file is writable: Failed!

I ran a CHMOD 777 for these files but continue to get the error.

I currently use Yahoo as my host.

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Hi,
This is definitely a shot in the dark...

I see that you did a CHMOD 777 for those files. Maybe the "cache" folder is stopping you. You could try doing CHMOD 777 on the cache folder, and try again. If this doesn’t work, you could then also make the files CHMOD 666. Sometimes the 777/666 folder/file combo works.

In any case, you may need to check with Yahoo support to find out what permissions their server needs to allow you to write to files and folders via your install script.

I have seen hosts that are not very flexible with regard to script usage and other features that one takes for granted with a good PHP/Unix type of account. In the name of low-cost and ease, sometimes publishing anything beyond a static site can be problematic. Yahoo may be somewhat restrictive on what they allow, though that’s only a guess.

      Good luck!
