    Hello Everyone,

Ive set up a new user role with full "Content Management" rights, "Run Module" and "Access permissions".

For some reason when I attempt to create a new document with this profile using "Content/New Document" I get the following notice:
    Access Permissions
You do not have the correct permissions for this document

Any ideas? Have I forgotten to switch something on?

    All help would be appreciated

    Thanks

      Yeah I have an idea.
Did the user try to create a document directly (Content > New document) ?

It won’t work, because a even with well defined privileges, default config does not allow document creation at the root.

Check in Administration > System Configuration > User settings that Allow root is set to Yes.
Beware though that it will mean a user can add document to the root of the site, therefore modifying the website basic structure.

If you want your users to be able to create documents without allowing creating document at the root, you’ll have to instruct them to rick click on a folder and create a document that way.
