Ditto and Sort Direction - ??

    Okay so first off, been using MODx for about 3 months now, got to say love it, and love the support on the forum. Any way into the meat of my question.... I can make Ditto dance, but can’t get it to display my postings in the order I want... help. I have tried just about everything and nothing has changed.

    [!Ditto?startID=`42` &format=`html` &summarize=`4` &trunc=`0` &levelLimit=`1` &tpl=`DittoTemplate` &sortBy=`pub_date` &sortDir=`ASC` &mode=`development` !]


    above is what I am using now and this is the result

    I want to display the newest document first and then go down... now I would think that is Descend... and I have tried both ASC and DESC with no results... some one help.. I am sure its something simple I have overlooked.

      Maybe you should try Ditto 1.1 Beta 1 as there have been some bugs related to sorting features (look here, and here)

        Thank you..... I found more posts, and I am not the only one with this problem. I am going to try the 1.1 beta.

          This could be your problem as well if you are using mysql 4.1.12:
