I’m having a ghost bug hit my web site. Some people sometimes get a MODx parser error on this page: http://www.webanalyticstoday.com/vendor_list.html .

Is this due to caching? Adobe Spry is reading an XML file generated by a snippet, but I don’t think that should be the problem, because that’s not happening on this page.

Can anyone give me some pointers on what to try/look for?

    Thanks.

      What is the parser error?

If the parser error is at the end of the page, usually appears on first visit to the site and not after clicking some of the links, says that header could not be sent, then it’s probably this #296 and solution is to disable native visitor logging..

But without knowing the error, this is just guessing.. and that #296 should happen pretty much on every new visit to the site and I didn’t see it on your site when I visited there, so it might not be it..

That seems to be exactly what’s going on. Thanks for taking my cryptic problem report and giving me back the right info. I definitely didn’t know where to start. Thanks.

I guess we can mark this as resolved...
