    Imagine I’d like to serve a website where any user should create his own homepage (like an web-desktop [e.g netvibes.com]) after registration. Which is the best way to solute this problem?

    1. is there any snippet/module yet, to create new pages from frontend and also link them to a single user or a user-group with one user only - so only this user would have the rights to edit his own page;

    2. is there any possibility to insert different contents into one single page? If i use TVs within a @DOCUMENT-link, I can’t edit that linked page by QuickEdit in the frontend (if I use the QuickEdit I only will edit the TV) How do I edit/update several different content-layers on one single page by QuickEdit or any other method?

    3. do I need to use manager-user-accounts or web-user-accounts to get those things done? Or in a other way: is there any way to assign the required rights (to manage content) to an web-user? Or can a snippet create those pages without additional user-rights?

    Sorry, I can’t articulate that good in english - please ask me if theres anything unclear. Or just post a link, if theres a good solution yet.

    I hope I didn’t have to code all that stuff by myself.

    Thanks for your help...

      See: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=6701.msg47629; and note that QuickEdit cannot be used by web users..
