    Webserver:
    php5-5.1.2_1
    mysql-server-4.1.20
    FreeBSD 6.1

    Browser:
    Firefox 1.5 / IE 6

I am experiencing the following problem, trying a clean install:

    • On the screen where you enter connection details, testing the connection doesn’t work. Clicking the ’Test Connection’ button causes the label ’Testing connection...’ to appear, but nothing more happens.
    • Choosing ’Next’ (even if I did not use the ’Test Connection’ feature) causes the following screen to appear, without any error message.

This is almost for sure not a database related problem. I checked the database/user/pass under phpmyadmin and it works ok. It happnes under IE and FF.

By the way, why the label in the upper-right corner says ’Version 0.9.1’ even if I have downloaded the latest version?

    Regards,
    Mike

Okay, my fault. The mysql extension was installed, but for some unknown reason it didn’t work properly. Phpmyadmin worked fine since it was using mysqli extension. Sorry for trouble
