    Hi!

Don’t know if this is a bug or what, but I have turned of all cacheing, (don’t like it) and all my pages/folders have "cacheing = off"
and all my news is created with Cacheing = off (and emty cache is on)

BUT, when I create a new newsitem (with Newspublisher)) it doesn’t show up in the ditto newslister right away (even though pub_Date is set to now).
actually it doesn’t show up until I actively press the "Refresh Site" option in the manager and then it says that x pages have been cleared..

Have anyone else had this problem? I am using modx 0.9.2.1

    /michael

EDIT: More info, I have deleted all files in the "Cache" directory, then I saw that when publish news it creates two files in the cacehdir, sitePublishing.idx.php and siteCache.idx.php

What are these files, and why are they created? I have all caching disabled,...at least to MY knowledge

First of all, please read: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,489.0.html

2ndly, As far as I know, those 2 files you mentioned are critical to MODx., regarding why files have been cached while you switched off the cache, some one more pro at this will answer soon.

      regards.
