[solved] Strip HTML from [*introtext*]?

I would love to use [*introtext*] in my meta description, but HTML in the meta description is quite foul when viewed in Google. Is there any way I can strip it out? I know there is a function in PHP to strip HTML when dealing directly with MySQL, is there a way to adapt that for this?

Thanks.

Just create a new snippet called introtext with the following content:

and call it
[[introtext]]

Thanks so much, that worked great!!!

Anytime.
