    Hi Guys (and girls),

This is a very simple and probably a stupid question.. I’m having some problem with setting up the WebSignup and WebLogin snippets. I’ve searched the forum and site but didn’t find any direct hits. First i had the problem that I couldn’t manage to register users with the form, but I found that info and created a group and now it works. Actually I was told by some "guide" that I should edit in the file "WebLoginTpl" i believe but I didn’t find this template anywhere or any text how to make it. Although I solved it temporarly with a simple link. Where can I find the template?

Now when the user shall login, he can input his account details and press "Submit" but it wont do anything, same page just refresh. I just included it by [[WebLogin]], shall I have any other options in the call? Will the loginbox disappear if a user logs in correctly and will it add a welcome, $user and a logout link? I read some posts about this but I found several different ways, which is the correct one that I shall use? Is it included?

Edit: Found solution to one thing, removed it. Sorry. Please reply to the other quest thogh.

    Thank you,
I hope you understand my english and my questions, im a bit tired wink

    Cheers,

Are you talking about this guide? I think that it’s bit outdated, the signup template in current installation is FormSignup and you don’t have to edit it. But did you install the demo data when you installed modx? I think the chunks come with the demo data.. not 100% sure though, migth come too if just the snippet is selected. Anyways, you can view the demo install at opensourcecms to see what the chunks contain and how it’s setuped. Basicly there is a signup page with a snippet call: [!WebSignup? &formtpl=`FormSignup` &groups=`Registered Users`!] and a login page with call: [!WebLogin? &tpl=`FormLogin` &loginhomeid=`2`!]

Call the snippet uncached like [!WebLogin!] or set the document not cacheable.
