    Hello all,

I am about to begin building a new site which must include a searchable database of products. The public users of the site must be able to perform an advanced search similar to the one on this page: http://www.salmonrecipes.net/advanced.php

After doing a search, there must be a search results page (or pages) leading to individual ’product details’ page for each product.

There must also be a suitable ’admin area’ for the site owners to add or amend product details.

I suspect that this kind of thing can be done quite easily by building on the core ModX functionality, but I am not 100% sure. I also don’t have the skills to do this myself.

    I have three questions:

    1. Is it possible to build a site using ModX which is mainly comprised of ’normal’ ModX-powered pages, but which also includes a searchable database section.

    2. If it is possible, can anyone provide me with real-world examples?

    3. Are there any ModX experts out there who would be interested in a contract from me to implement this on my new site?

Please let me take this opportunity to say that I am new to ModX, but already I absolutely love it. It is the best CMS system by miles! I really do want to use ModX for the new project I have mentioned above. I hope someone will be able to help me, and I thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

    Regards
    Smaavie
