My god, this is going worse... I have cleared the firefox cache, and now... I can not see the fckeditor window anywhere.... just a white hole... in the backend, in the frontend... nothing
    :(

after that, I tried to install 2.3b, erasing 2.3.1, copying files, including the install folder, the running the upgrade.... and nothing! sad

Hmm...any way I could access your manager? If so, PM me a username and password I can use.

Got your PM. Looks like it’s working fine. I made sure that FCKEditor was chosen as the default editor and resaved the manager configuration, opened up a page as if I was going to edit it and FCKEditor loaded no problems! smiley Oh, and I tested it with both Firefox and Internet Explorer 6...both work fine. So...if it’s still not loading for you, might be a browser issue. BTW, what OS and browser are you using? Probably should have asked that before anyways. smiley

          Well, this is really strange...
I am on windows, firefox 1.5.0.6...
but I have tested it on IE6 and the same problem is there (with javascript errors in the status bar)

but it is not the browser/OS system...
because I have tested another site using modx and the fckeditor works fine, in firefox & IE...
something is broken after the "upgrade" of fckeditor

maybe something with the browser language, no idea... (I will continue with this tomorrow, it is too late)

I’ll look at it again from work...it very well could be something language related.

Ok...I’ve tried it out at work on different browsers...still no problems. Umm...what javascript error are you getting? Does IE or Firefox give you anymore info about the error? Let me know what it says.
