    « MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Duplicate entry ’2147483647’ for key 1 »
    SQL: INSERT INTO `familyguy_files`.modx_log_hosts(id, data) VALUES(’2333329533’, ’84.12.84.xxx’)
    [Copy SQL to ClipBoard]

    Parser timing
    MySQL: 0.0016 s s (10 Requests)
    PHP: 1.8110 s s
    Total: 1.8126 s s

I’m getting this error every so often, other people on the website are too. If I visit the site, leave it for an hour, and visit again, I get the error. I don’t know if this is the right forum, so apoligies if not, but I didn’t know where to post.

    Thanks,
    Scott

The default stats tracking in MODx are flakey at best and are being removed from the next release. Turn them off and the error should go away.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there anyway to disable these errors from being displayed? The statistics look ok to me, I like them - now if this damn error would just go away. wink

The error is indicative of performance problems and general flakiness. I’d recommend removing them and using slimstats, mint, google analytics, awstats or bbclone externally or as a MODx plugin if you’re so inclined. I know no way to prevent the errors otherwise.

You can get rid of the errors by checking those tables; it looks like the "auto_increment" didn’t get set for the first field.

ok thanks. I disabled the stats and it’s definately much faster loading. I’ll stick with awstats I guess.
