I can't set my TV to a non-default value

So, if I set it up exactly like you did, it works.
If I set it up like yours, but set it to Delimited list, it also works.

The thing is, I want a different input type, because I want to be able to select multiple options.

ListBox (MultiSelect) + Delimited List doesn’t work.
ListBox (MultiSelect) + String Formatter (Sentence Case) doesn’t work.
Checkbox + either of those doesn’t work

.. but ..

TextArea (Mini) + Delimited List works!
I got rid of the spaces around the double-bars (Baby||Garden||Website) and now the default value works as well.

And the selection within Ditto works as well.

This is less user-friendly for the person that actually types in most of the blog entries, but it works.

This is probably obvious, but ..

If you do what I said above, you enter multiple values like

@mglerner: I know, that’s no help for you: but I could not reproduce your issue. When I uncheck the default value "baby", check "garden" and save the page, "garden" is saved - as it should be. I use MODx 0.9.2.1 (rev 1005) too. Strange!
