    Hi all,
I have to do a site which among other things should have these facilities

Secure Client Area: After client logs in the following secure section will be displayed.
-- Information about the logged in Client and their contract information
-- Inquiries. (Logged in client can send new inquiries)
-- Complaints (Logged in client can send complains to Micro on ongoing projects)
-- Facility to send accomplishment message to the client
    &
The admin section should have the following options
---Facility to view the new inquiries of new clients
---Facility to create new user on website, to provide facility to avail the CRM (Client Relations Management) section of the website
---Facility to view and follow the new inquiries of permanent clients.
---Facility to view complaints by the users, on web.
---Facility to send accomplishment message regarding related complains to the client, after accomplishing.
---Facility to view satisfaction letter from the client regarding related complains.

I want to know whether these are possible with the exisiting features of MODx? or do I have to do extra coding?
Please help. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post.

Some clever use of TVs, custom document creation/edit forms and careful attention to usergroups should let you do most of this, but I’d imagine that you’d want to replicate many of the manager features so that admins didn’t get too confused.

So. "Extra coding" is the short answer.
No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

You can install SMF Forum and with a good structure you can use it to manage clients in the way you want.
There’s no need to reinvent the wheel, just color it the right way smiley

I count that as "using a different wheel", but I agree that a forum structure is more easily adapted to the requirements of modxusr.
