Can I copy directly from Word?

NO. This is the most common mistake with editing. Always copy text from Word into Notepad before copying into the html editor. Very important! After you have pasted from Notepad, you can remove any linebreaks by using Delete on the previous line. If you do paste from Word, use the paste from MS Word button.

As I understand it you can also use the button next to the inset word button. This is for posting plain text so you can copy from word and paste with this link and it gets inserted as just plain text. This saves the step of pasting from word into motpad and then into the page..

You could also use WordCleaner which is more efficient than the Paste From MS Word button...
