    Hello,

I recently moved my site to a different server using modbak (seams to have worked great!).

Before moving the site I was able to use the uploader to upload images, files, etc. After the move when I browse server to link to images or files the uploader comes up blank.

Nothing shows up despite the folders being chmod 777 and stuff being in the folders.

While this isn’t so much a problem at the moment it will become one once the site is finished.

    MySQL 5
PHP 4/5 server has both whatever modx uses by default.

Tested in latest Firefox and IE. Same results.

Everything else seams to work fine.

Any help is very welcome on this issue.
    Thanks

If it’s not a permission problem the only obvious alternative is their is something wrong with your paths.
Go to Administration > System Configuration, go to the Interface & editor settings tab and check that the Resource path and Resource URL are OK.

I hope this is it, I can’t think of any other reason for it not to work...

Thanks that was just the ticket.

There isnt too much restore information about modbak or I must have missed to check that setting.

Either way thanks for the help!

Glad I could help... There are only a few things to keep in mind when you move MODx installs :
          - modify config.inc.php
          - modify .htaccess if you’re using rewrite rules
          - modifiy paths and check system configuration on first log

Additionnally, edit the path of your CSS image if you didn’t use the "CSS as document" method (which allow you to place the [(site_url)] prefix in your path smiley )
