Site "freezing" (using friendly urls, mod_rewrite)

It can be that the site "freezes" if I click in a direct link to a page not cached/created?

I am using friendly urls... mod_rewrite... .html suffix...

for example, I am seeing http://dipascuale.com/portfolio_documento/ubamell/portfolio_ubamell_6.html
and the click over 02 to go to
http://dipascuale.com/portfolio_documento/ubamell/portfolio_ubamell_2.html
and the site freezes for a long time... maybe 5 minutes or more
I can not use the manager, etc... just have to wait, and then it happens again...

Any idea?

Does this happen every time, or only sometimes? I checked your links, and they were all very quick.

I checked your site too.. page loading is fast.
Have you other error messages?

Could be something related to the Rewrite directives. Is your site running on Apache? If you’ve got access, check for possible segmentation fault messages in the error.log . (Since this could explain the freezing...)

The odd thing it that it is happening just with my firefox...
Other firefox, from friends, works ok
My IE show the page ok, fast, no freeze....

I have to test it in my firefox without extensions, etc...

Also try upgrading your FireFox browser to the lastest version
