You could also use my TV Conditional snippet. (In the repository)
Thanks from what I read, this is the way to go! One problem though,  I’m the equivalent of the villiage idiot!

Now, I know I am suppose to try things to get them to work "on my own" but, I don’t know how to use this. So could you be so kind as to turn this...

    [!tvcnd? &tv=`TV name` &cnd=`value, mode` &rtn=`name of chunk to return`!]

Into something that I can just insert into a page using the pre-installed default site? I don’t care what it returns. I am a little confused on how to set the params. Once I see it in action, I will be able to take it from there. I think what is causing me the most confusion is how to set up and call the conditional itself.

    Thanks

Ok, here is how to use it.

      1. Create a tv called templatevar (or whatever you wish but use that instead of templatevar whenever you see it below)
      2. Set a default value of 0
      3. On 2 or 3 pages set the value of the tv to 1.
      4. Create a chunk called mychunk with the text "TVcnd is working!"
      5. Call the snippet like so:
      [!tvcnd? &tv=`templatevar` &cnd=`1, 2` &rtn=`mychunk`!]

      Thats it!
