mata tag and keywords

Why in Meta tags and keywords Manager there isn’t a tag keywords?

You can use TV (Template Variable) for this purpose!

How would you setup this TV? What tag would you put in your template? What TV (or TVs) would you create? Would they be RTE’s?

Maybe you want to try out Meta Tags Extra. This snippet is really cool

That does help. To make it easy, I could create in my template:
<meta ..... [*tvMetaKeywords*] ...>
<meta ..... [*tvMetaDecription*] ...>

Then I could create 2 Template Variables as text. And input my keywords and description there. Does this sound right? (Or I could use MetaExtra).

Indeed the text TV solution you described above is good, but I encourage you to check the other snippet also so you can see the difference and adopt one to your likings.

The Meta Tags Extra snippet is using the default document’s information (title, longtitle, description, etc) to build the meta tags.
If you are using TV’s you will just have some more fields to fill. This is good if you want to have the meta content different to what you have in the documents content. Else the snippet would be better.

I am using the snippet, and it’s really nice.
