Maybe that’s not a real MODx but a general QuickEdit question:
Where/how can I define/change the style menues of QuickEdit?
I would like to make them compliant (at best: restrict them) to my site-specific CSS-styles to foster (at best: enforce) consistent attribute-settings and appearance over the whole site.

To do so you’ll have to fill the field "Path to css" in :

Administration > System & configuration > Editor settings

Not sure you’re right heliotrope, if I am not mistaken you’re talking the WYSIWYG editor’s css path here...

To edit QuickEdit styles, you’d have to go to :
        assets/modules/quick_edit/styles/ and work on editor.css and output.css

          Oh sorry! rolleyes
I did not put my question correctly:
What I meant was: where I can define the content and the relative HTML-output for the Styles-menues
(named "Format", containing things I don’t need like "Address", or the other one named "Styles" with presets like "Custom bold")
of FCKEditor (this is the one I use) and I guess I found the information I looked for at http://wiki.fckeditor.net.
Those editor settings are controlled by xml-config-files as far as I can see...

          Sorry for bothering you.

Then Heliotrope was right, and I was talking of another thing entirely, which is QuickEdit...
