Difference between &_Post and $modx->db->escape($_Post

    some have only $_post while others have $modx - >db - >escape($_Post

    i’m adding extra fields to the websignup form and
      SMF Bookmark Mod - check it out

      The escape function will escape any characters that might cause problems with the SQL queries ... for example quotation marks.
