Hello all, I’ll be brief. I’m new to MODx and the workflow and while I do know of a way just by what little i’ve learned, I was wondering if any veterans have a better idea. I’d like to show the 5 Latest Blog posting on my front page, but feature (summarize) only the (1) Post.

    Example format:
    Most Recent Blog Title
Subject body text goes here maybe a picture whatever blah blah 300 lines of characters.
    Posted by: Whoever

Second Most Recent Blog Title Link

Third Most Recent Blog Title Link

Fourth Most Recent Blog Title Link

I’m using Ditto and I can obviously display just the top 5 titles that link to the entries, but what about featuring just one at the top. Similar to a CNN.COM (For lack of a better reference)?

    Thanks in advance!

Ditto should be able to do that by turning off archive display and limiting it to X number of entries. There’s been several other ways of accomplishing similar things discussed here too with Newslisting, but the same concepts translate to Ditto.
