How to use weblinks?

For example, I want to create a document ID for my forums, so that I can redirect to the forums after a login. Using the SMF bridge here.

So I go to new weblink, and I put in my forums. ALl it gives me is a path to to my forums, the link, it actually doens’t do any redirecting. Help?

So how does this site do it then? It works for this site, the main page has stuff that links off the cms.

What I mean that this is/was a known bug, check the thread now and scroll down few post, there’s one resolution posted for this. I hope it helps!
