    HI,

I have a DHTML menu for my website and a flash image right under it.
When I click on DHTML menu, I can’t see the sub menus becasue it appears that they go under the flash image.
However If i use .jpg or .gif files it is fine but I dont want to use them. I want to use flash.

The z-index in CSS for the div tags does not work for flash...

    Is there another solution?

If the flash is a movie that moves, I think it will pop over any non-positioned HTML elements.

Also try to add <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/> inside the flash object tag and wmode="transparent" attribute to the embed tag. That should make the flash to be at the background.

Watch out for cross browser issues when using wmode, btw.

The WMODE tag is supported only on some browser/Macromedia Flash Player version combinations
