How can I get QuickEdit to work with the chunks I create for Ditto news articles? Or how about a chunk that is used by a Random Article snippet? I’ve tried some variations of [*#content*] and <quickedit:content />, but quickedit always assumes I want to edit the content of the larger page, not the embedded news articles. Some of the pages I have don’t have any content at all themselves; they enhouse, for example, the most recent front page article, or a random aricle.
Thanks for the help.
Hmmm, definately worth looking into. Can you file a feature request for this please? Thanks.
Has there been any news on this? I’ve a site where ditto lays out the main content for nearly every page and so with the above limitation I’m not able to have QuickEdit available to content editors at all.

I had a similar problem, I solved it by making a snippet that checked for a user being logged in to the Manager, and if he was, it did a $modx->runSnippet("Wayfinder", array(’startId’=>blah, blah=>blah); using the same startId as the Ditto startID.
Then I put that snippet in the same page as the Ditto snippet, and when a user is logged in he gets a set of links to the individual pages for editing.
Thanks, I think I’ll do just that.
Ditto has support for QE in 1.1 Beta 1 or later. Support for MODx 0.9.5 QE should be out very very soon.
