I’ve just recently started playing with the newslisting, newspublisher, and usercomments snippets, and i really like them. The code is easy to read, and to my untrained eye, seems really efficient. so a big shout out to those who wrote those snippets !! I just need to make a few mods to suit my purposes and hoped i could get some advice on how to approach it. My coding style is neither as pretty or as efficient as what i’ve seen in these snippets
the first thing i want to do is modify the usercomments snippet so that it can use the full fckeditor.
next i’ll need to limit the comments to one per news listing.
finally, i’ll have to do some reporting based on which listings have comments, and how long it took to get that comment.
the last two seem pretty straight forward to me, but i get the feeling the first one wont be as easy as it might look. if anyone could offer pointers, advice, etc. I’d really appreciate it!
