Are Amazon style user reviews possible?

Hi,
I’m new to MODX, been looking for a good CMS for a while and think I’ve finally found one. I have one website that uses a heavily modded install of Wordpress but it’s becoming unmanageable so I’ve opted to replace it with MODX.

How easy would it be to write an "Amazon Style" user review system? From what I’ve seen so far the comment system looks like the best bet as a base for it.

Has anyone attempted to do this yet?

I think your assessment is correct, although I’m not aware of any such efforts to date. Sounds like a cool project that would benefit the community!
