    Hi all

I have a questions about lexicon & manage lexicons.

    1. when i install a snippet like Quip, and want to change it’s lexicon in my language (Persian - fa) what should i do?
in that case, i first start to copy Quip en lexicon folder and rename it to fa, and change inside lexicon entries value. I had changed manager language to en later, But when i refresh my page or flush sessions and then refresh it, i see no changes.
then i try to use Modx manager and it’s lexicon managing section to translate, but i see no fa language when i select quip to translate. do above again and refresh lexicon managing page, but still no fa to select and translate.
after all i used to create new lexicon entry by using lexicon managing page and use fa as language, Quip lexicon key as name and translated string as value. I used right topic top. But still no changes.
    What should i do?

    2. Is it possible to Export or Import Specific Lexicon? Any tools available for both usage(Export-Import). I see no built-in tools in Modx Manager.

I’m using Modx Revolution 2.1.3-pl. Plese help!

    Thanks, Cyrusthegreat

      Hi all

This is the best way to start a new translation for an extra.

I had changed manager language to en later, But when i refresh my page or flush sessions and then refresh it, i see no changes.
Set the setting ’cache_noncore_lexicon_topics’ to 0, or clear the site cache.

Just copy the files; lexicons are file-based in MODX. The DB entries are only for site-specific overrides (not for translations).
