    For existing translations
We are preparing the Revolution 1.0.5-pl release and need your help updating translations. If you have worked with the translations in the past, please submit updates no later than December 29, 2010 2PM Central Time (GMT -0600).

There are only a few minor updates to the language file since the 1.0.4 release: 8 new strings, 1 changed string and 2 deleted strings. A list of updates can be found on Task #2940. You can submit translations in one of two ways—please ensure all contributions use UNIX-style line-endings only:

    1) Preferred: Submit via GitHub by forking MODx Evolution, working on the files in the develop branch, and submitting a Pull Request to the develop branch with the changes, or
    2) Attach patch files to the ticket: Task #2940.

    Want to contribute a translation?
If you are part of our international community and would like to submit a translation for your language, please search your local language forums for an existing initiative. If there isn’t one, please post a note in this thread if you would like to be the Translation Lead. All Translation Leads and translation contributors must have a signed CLA. Translations cannot be accepted without a CLA. The current translation leads can be found at http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,48770.msg285344.html#msg285344

We would also ask that you translate and repost this into your local language forum with a link back here.

Note: A tool has been made to help with translations.

One question about language file versions.
For now we have version number commented in language files.
       * Version:        2.0.5

Do we need them? I think it can be removed\replaced with MODx version number, for which version language file was prepared.
      Thoughts?

PS. I removed "weblink_message" language variable, because it’s not used anymore (for now)

I have made a pull request from GitHub, with the updated danish language files for the manager, the installer, and for eForm - but do not know if I’ve done it right. (I haven’t used Github before). Please notify me if I had done it wrong.

I can not log into bugs.modx.com anymore - otherwise I would had uploaded them there.

Git pull request https://github.com/modxcms/evolution/pull/60 done for French language files (Ascii & utf-8).

[EDIT] Unfortunately, I have done my pull request on the master branch of modxcms/evolution embarrassed Do you want a new pull request on the develop branch ?

I have also done a pull request for an update of the AjaxSearch cheatsheet and the correction of AJAXSEARCH-83 issue.
Thanks to take them into account.

Thanks for the advice. Git is not very easy to apply and not convenient.
Refuse the pull into the master branch. Do you want I pull into the develop branch the last pull with the French language files ?

Don’t worry if the pull requests aren’t just right at the moment.
Pull requests are just messages, and whether they contain more commits than you want or not, we can pretty easily find and pull the right commits from you, even if they’re on the master branch.
Going forward, I’m working on a visual mindmap and will be reviewing and trying to simplify the documentation to make things easier.
Once we get past this hump, it’s going to be really easy and more productive to work together in git. The more second-nature the git workflow becomes, the more fun it is to use - trust me ;-)
