    hi guys

    i’m using MODXRevo v 2.0.4-pl2 and just added to my template the login (registration) and simplesearch addon.
    my problem is that I can not figure out how custom messages should be changed into other languages

    here are the details
    let’s first take the simplesearch addon:
    1. i created a new folder (hu - for hungarian) here \core\components\simplesearch\lexicon\en
    2. copied all content from the /en/ folder to the /hu/ folder
    3. I edited the default.inc.php file under the /hu/ folder and changed all message texts into Hungarian (this can be done in Lexicon Management as well, after the new folder and files have been created)
    4. next step should have been to find the main config file where you can set the path of the lexicon to load the version you want (ie hu, de, ru or whatever)
    5. after a while i found ’simplesearch.class.php’ file here \core\components\simplesearch\model\simplesearch\ in which there is a line as follows:
    $this->modx->lexicon->load('sisea:default');

    i presume this is the line in which i should be modifying the ’sisea:default’ to something which will call the default php file under the /hu/ folder i created - let me know if i’m wrong

    in addition to this i also verified the Hungarian version of sisea in Lexicon Management which is OK

    basically, I didn’t manage to figure out how the simplesearch,login or other similar components should be customised to use other languages than the default english

    i would highly appreciate if anyone could guide me through this issue

    thanks in advance

        Isn’t the default language set by Culture Key in System settings? Have you tried setting that from ’en’ to ’hu’?
